Visnovsky and de Haan are hurt.

Not to mention Bailey. Lee showed more in a short time last year than Bailey has in years. |

Because he will play 8-12 games a year if that. They aren't going to keep a youngster up just to be an extra forward. Boulton was perfect in that role last year |

I do not get it. After all of the great moves made this offseason, how do they figure out a way to craft this uninspiring lineup? |

Bailey is staying for money reasons. The contract he has your paying for it no matter what. If there is any chance of trading him it would be hard with him in the minors showing no faith. Atleast Bailey is hit or miss. Boulton shouldnt even be in the NHL. |

Huh? Outside of Bailey replacing Lee what is some uninspiring about the lineup? Grabner is hurt |

Boulton is a part timer. He knows his role and was great at it last year. They are not going to sit anybody else 85% of the time. |

Anders Lee is better than half of those forwards. In general that roster looks like they are more concerned about potentially losing players to waiver claims than they are about winning hockey games.

None of those guys are in the lineup McDonald, Boulton, Donovan. So you're complaining about the healthy scratches?? Lee over Bailey is the only legit gripe |

Sad, Lee deserves to be there. That kid has some real potential. It really hurts to see Bailey still there

I'm also concerned about Strome being sent down when Grabner returns. Maybe by then the hockey Gods will have come through for us and we somehow move Bailey. - Charlie21
When everybody is back and healthy you would think a move will be made |

Lee on the 3rd line and Bailey splitting time on the 4th line w/ Martin would be a far more potent lineup. But I guess they just can't risk exposing the great Colin McDonald to waivers. - Snowblind
Why would you put Bailey on a line with a bunch of Bangers when he might be the biggest p*ssy on the team? Bailey is useless he is even more useless on the 4th line. Lee will be back before you know it |

Loyalty to McDonald, Bailey, Carkner, Donovan and Strait is ok, all good guys and team players. Lee deserves a spot but he will continue to hone his d in BRI and make it impossible to keep him there. Gotta love all of the depth and competition, even in goal because Poulin is still developing, hopeflully he is well coached. |

Guess he's gotta go somewhere. Might as well 8 minutes a night against faster, less truculent opponents. |

Boulton is perfect for his role... play 20 games, sit in the pressbox. Keep the dressing room in good spirits...
He knows his role!!!
Not a bad gig if you can get it!!!
Every team needs one or two!!! |

Lee has the elc so he was the man out. However at BRI he gets max ice time on the top line and can still improve to the point that he can't get any better. If he burns up the AHL we will see an Isles forward on waivers to bring him here. I'm sure a lot of GM's have scouted Lee but there are not many spots open in the league for him as a top 6 which he has the potential to be and the price he demands in a trade. |
